Delete your account

What gets deleted

• Your account and sign-in details.
• Your books and sources.
• Your captures and the transcripts of your rambles.
• Your journal: concepts, reflections and experiment pages.
• Any reports you filed.
• Any voice recordings still in storage.

This happens straight away and cannot be undone. If you want to keep your notes, export them first from Settings while signed in.

What may remain for a while

Our AI provider, Groq, says that with the Zero Data Retention setting we use it does not keep the audio or text it processes. Backup copies of the database that we made earlier stay until newer copies replace them, error reports at Sentry expire after 30 days, and logs held by our hosting providers expire on their own schedules. How to delete your account

• On this page. Sign in, return here, type DELETE and press the button below. This works in any web browser, without the app.
• By email. If you cannot sign in, write to brainshelves.net@gmail.com from the address on your account.
